Following shortly after the Air Jordan 6 “Wheat” comes the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Wheat” with the same supple treatment to the uppers with a slightly different take on the midsole. The uppers are comprised of a soft suede that hits the overlays and tongue tag as well. Debossed detailing for the wings logo and embossed detailing at the Nike Air logo add a hand-made aesthetic to the pair. The rounded lace selection compliments the boot-like appearance. Underneath the quality upper is a gum rubber midsole/outsole unit with Air-Sole cushioning inside, all of which matches the beige suede breakdown for the Jumpman’s first in line.
