The Air Jordan 5 receives a spin-off of the classic "Grape" colourway boasting more of the purple tones, dubbed "Alternate Grape".  The uppers are primarily constructed in suede while the reflective tongue sees contrast from the "New Emerald" Jumpman logo and "Black" down the laces and eyelets.  Embroidered Jumpman logo sits at the heel.  Midsole below housing the visible Air unit is painted in black with "New Emerald" accent.  Rubber outsole switches between icy blue and black.
