December 21st, 2021 Update: Store Closure Effective December 22nd

 

Dear Capsule customers,

 

We would like to take this time to provide an update on how we will continue offering our services during this time. As the Omircon variant surges in Ontario and new restrictions put in place by the province, we have decided to temporarily stop all in-store shopping effective Wednesday, December 22nd. The health and safety of our customers and staff are still of upmost importance, and we will continue taking extra precautions as our online shop will remain operational with no changes set in place.

 

As we continue to monitor the situation closely, we hope to open our doors for the public soon when it is safe to do so, and in compliance with the provincial bylaws. 

 

Curbside Pick-Up Hours:

Monday to Friday: 11:30AM - 4:30PM

March 15th, 2021 Update: Curbside Pick-Up Resumes March 16th, 2021

 

Dear Capsule customers,

 

We would like to take this time to provide an update on how we will continue offering our services during the Grey Zone period to the best of our abilities as businesses begin to reopen.  The health and safety of our customers and staff are still of upmost importance, and we will continue taking extra precautions as we open for curbside pick-up only starting March 16th. 

 

Our online shop will remain operational with no changes set in place and curbside pick-up option will still be offered at check-out. 

 

Our brick-and-mortar locations will remain open ONLY for curbside pick-up as we continue to monitor the situation closely.  We hope to open our doors for the public soon when it is safe to do so, and in compliance with the provincial bylaws.

February 3rd, 2021 Update: Canadian-wide Shipping to be Delayed

 

Dear Canadian Capsule customers,

 

We would like to inform everyone with the following statement released by Canada Post on January 23rd: 

 

"On the advice of Peel Public Health, Canada Post has temporarily closed one of the shifts at our Gateway East processing facility in Mississauga, Ont. after a number of employees tested positive for COVID-19. Public Health says this is the most effective way to contain further spread at this stage.

Given the significance of the Gateway facility, we are evaluating and adapting our existing contingency plans to manage the impact on customers. More details will be available soon. At this point, customers can expect shipping delays."  Read the full statement here.

 

The rest of the Canadian provinces are also experiencing shipping delays as per Canada Post's Delivery Service Alerts page.  Click here for your province's service alerts.  We recommend that all customers utilize the tracking method provided by Canada Post for accurate live updates on parcels. 

 

We will continue to monitor the situation closely as more information becomes available, and we will do our part in keeping everyone up-to-date.

January 13th, 2021 Update: Curbside Pick-up To Be Ceased Effective January 14th

 

Dear Capsule customers,

 

We hope that everyone is having a great start to their New Year!


Yesterday a stay-at-home order was announced by Premier Ford, along with the declaration of the province's second state of emergency.   Effective Thursday, January 14th at 12:01AM, everyone is required to remain at home, with the exception for essential purposes (visit Ontario.ca for full details). 

With that being said, we at Capsule believe everyones safety is of utmost importance during these uncertain times.  To avoid having customers leave their home for non-essential trips, we will temporarily be ceasing our curbside pick-up options until further notice.  Our online shop will still remain operational with all orders being shipped to the customers requested address. 

 

We want to apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused as we truly believe this is the best way for all parties to comply with the stay-at-home order while doing our best to keep everyone out of harm's way.  We will continue to monitor the situation closely as more information becomes available, and we wish to see you guys soon!

Dec 20th, 2020 Update: Holiday Orders - Shipping Delay to be Expected

 

Happy Holidays Capsule customers!

It's that busy time of the year again where you lovely folks are spoiling your friends and family with gifts by shopping online and having your parcels shipped. Well, as we all know with the uncertainties COVID has brought this year, post offices are doing their due diligence to maintain important safety measures. With the high volume of parcels during this season, mixed in with those who are now shipping their gifts out rather than the traditional Holiday visits - shipping delays are to be expected.



With that being said, we understand the urgency during this time but we also want to kindly remind customers to be patient, and utilize the tracking method to follow the progress of their orders.

August 1st, 2020 Update: Entering Stage 3

 

Dear Capsule customers,

As Toronto and the rest of the province enters into Stage 3, Capsule is continuing to take measures in ensuring the safety of our valued customers and staff members during these unprecedented times. Our doors for both Yorkville and Markham locations will remain closed for public browsing and in-store purchases. However, our online shop with curbside pick-up will continue to operate as we monitor the situation closely in hopes to open our doors for the public soon.

 

We would also like to take this time to thank all our customers who have continued to show their support during these times. This situation is constantly evolving, and we are committed to continuing to support you as best as possible, while doing our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

June 25th, 2020 Update: Curbside Pick-Up

 

Dear Capsule customers,

We have recently begun our curbside pick-up availability for online orders.  PPE equipment will be worn by our staff when orders are being picked up for the safety of our valued customers and our company.  We encourage customers to wear PPE equipment as well to limit the risk of transmission. 

Launch Product Pick-Ups:

If you have placed an order on a launch product either through the Frenzy app or our webstore which requires curbside pick-up, please be patient and wait for a follow-up email with further details and instructions regarding the pick-up process.

April 24th, 2020 Update: Shipping Time Delayed

Delivery Delays Due to Postage Service Disruptions
Dear Capsule customers,

We would like to take this time to inform everyone that due to postage service disruptions, delivery delays should be expected.  Couriers are expecting Christmas-like volumes as online shopping has become more prominent while the population is self-isolating at home.  Delayed delivery updates should also be expected while couriers are taking extra precaution to ensure important safety measures.  

With that being said, if you had recently placed and order and haven't received your item(s) yet, simply check back later for the most accurate delivery information. 

We apologize for this, and we want you to know that we're doing our best to get orders in the hands of the couriers as soon, and as safely as possible.

Please consider when placing domestic orders: Going forward, all parcels will require collection from your local Canada Post office.  The office address can be found on the mailing notice card left by the driver or through Canada Post tracking online.  If you are not in agreement with these terms and do not possess valid ID, please do not continue with your order.

March 15th, 2020 Update

With the ongoing outbreak of COVID-19, we at Capsule understand the concerns regarding these unforeseen circumstances. The well-being of our staff and our customers is of utmost importance and our top priority.

 

Effective March 16th, we’ll be temporarily closing both our Yorkville and Downtown Markham brick-and-mortar locations until further notice. Our response to COVID-19 is part of our commitment to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for the community.

 

During this time, you can still shop the online store as it will remain fully operational.
