Continuing their journey to push the needle of footwear design, the ISPA Link Axis is Nike's first exploration into creating a fully circular shoe. The underfoot sensation, highlighted by a "blown" plastic midsole and mechanical Nike Air cushioning, adds responsiveness and the perfect amount of bounce. Even the sporty colours are purposeful: they nod to the very first Link Axis prototype, now housed in a museum exhibit on the future of circular design.





Guided by the principles of modularity and waste reduction, the design uses interlocking components, as few materials as possible and zero glue. "Every part can be recycled", says the ISPA team. "It represents progress over perfection—creating a product with a second life in mind".
