Founded in North Vancouver, BC in 1991, Arc’teryx has always put performance and design at the forefront of their outerwear.  Their name and logo derive from the Archaeopteryx, one of the earliest known birds fossilized in Solnhofen limestone found in Bavaria, Germany.  Arc’teryx’s line focuses on the use of waterproof and windproof materials such as Gore-tex in order to produce highly durable, weather-resistance, technical apparel, accessories and equipment for the great outdoors.  Their luxury line, Arc’teryx Veilance, began in 2009 with the focus of producing highly versatile yet sophisticated performance wear stylized for your business and casual attire in the city.
