The 2 That Started it all

The Air Jordan x Converse Pack pays tribute Michael Jordan’s early days with two pairs tightly knit with his origins as a young buck during his UNC years. The first pair, Converse Fastbreak Mid, was Michael’s first pair to attack with during the 1984 Olympics before the launch of Air Jordan.

The Fastbreak Mid features a UNC-themed colourway with a combination of durable nylon and tough leather uppers dressed up with Carolina blue leather detailing. The retro technology is still intact with the solid white cupsole underneath coupled with a Lunarlon sock liner to cushion the foot.

Complimenting the converse is the Air Jordan 2 “’87 Carolina Pro Alumni Game” sample colourway that graced the court with UNC accents. Clean white leather uppers with the lizard skin-textured ankle and the Carolina blue detailing at the heel patch. Wings logo at the tongue with the MJ initials and game date of 6/28/87 right at the heel. Contrasting against the white is the black midsole with Air-Sole cushioning to comfort and support the foot. Part of the collection are the Jordan UNC Shorts which bring back the UNC gym wear look once worn by the young budding talent. The Jordan UNC Shorts are made from an engineered mesh fabric with Dri-FIT technology to keep you dry during your workout. The elasticated waistband hugs the waist comfortably while the inner drawstring allows for size adjustment. These particular shorts feature the UNC logo at the leg with the jumpman symbol at the other leg.
