Meanswhile focuses a different approach to their garments. As their manifesto states, "Design is a means to an end, not the end itself" and rightfully so. Meanswhile sees their selection as tools for the body rather than fashion, which in turn defines the style of their line. The collection of sports jackets, denim shirts, denim jeans, backpacks and accessories are all designed for daily wear but encompass a utilitarian approach.
This season’s collection turns genuine workwear silhouettes into everyday casual wear which are constructed with water-resistant, weatherproof materials to enhance their durability. For the outerwear jackets, tops, and aprons, each garment is fully adjustable with their own design specifications and possess several options for storage. Accessories like the hats and backpacks are designed for versatility and portability by using lightweight synthetic fabrics that can be detached or converted easily. In all sense of the word, Meanswhile will "transform" your wardrobe when it needs to be.
