Capsule and Nike are celebrating the 45 great years of the pivotal Cortez runner debuting in 1972. Co-founder Bill Bowerman strived to develop better equipment for runners and the Cortez was one of the first to satisfy the demand.
The Cortez has been used in Hollywood films, television programming and often made its way through the mainstream gaining coverage on screen and on the streets. 2 years after the official release, the Senorita Cortez would be released for ladies sizes and different colourways.
